Summary:
1. Content should be planned and recurring content should be institutionalized. Your audience should know what type of content to expect within Beekeeper.
2. It is important to define responsible persons for certain content and to instruct, motivate and remind them so that the platform lives and is/remains relevant
3. Various content calendars are available in the “Templates” document.
Content Planning
Beekeeper’s platform is extremely easy to use. In no time, you will see frequent sharing from team members and open collaboration. However, it is important to set that example from the beginning which requires a well-defined content plan. It is very important to have a structured approach to steer the content and set the foundation for your future success. To help you with this approach, we created these Content Calendar worksheets, please use the sheets “Content calendar - weekly”, “Content calendar - monthly” and “Content calendar - other” from the document Templates.
To get started in your Content Plan, filter by “Type” on the sheet “Solutions Brainstorming” and choose all ideas from the type “Content”. Copy the content idea and the responsible owner over to the content calendars, where you can paste the ideas in the appropriate day, week or month according to your desired frequency. After that, choose in which stream the content should be posted (to define your streams, please check out Stream Structure).
This exercise should help you to institutionalize recurring content. It is important that you talk with all the people in the “Responsible” field especially for those solutions that you’ve prioritized for the rollout. Ensure those content creators have the necessary training they need to ensure that they start to post frequently. Keep in mind that this is a change for many teams so it can take some time and friendly reminders to ensure content calendars are successfully implemented.
