Group Chats Structure
Any user can create a group chat. Nevertheless, it makes sense to create official group chats for some departments so they are ready when a user logs in for the first time. You can either do this yourself (create group chat, send welcome message, make someone else the group chat admin and leave the chat afterwards), or delegate it to the department- and team leaders.
By default, we recommend you find out what chatting tools are being used currently (Whatsapp, Facebook, Text) as these are a good place to start. Re-create those chat groups directly in Beekeeper and speak with managers to ensure that chatting occurs within Beekeeper instead of within those other tools moving forward.
In the "Solutions Brainstorm" tab in the "Templates" document, filter for the "x" in the "Group chat" column. The group of people in the "Sender" and "Receiver" columns then make up the group chat members.
To define your group chats in a structured way, you can use the "Structure - Group Chats" tab in the "Templates" document.
