Profile Fields Structure
Profile fields have already been explained in the "User Management" article.
As with groups, most profile fields are based on your employee data. Profile fields should be set up by default for information such as location, department, and function.
However, there are use cases that require a specific profile field. In the “Solutions Brainstorm” tab in the Templates document, filter by the "x" in the Profile Field column.
Typical use cases including profile fields are e.g. an absence message in the profile field or internally identifying employees with specific skills, experience, or driving permissions recorded in a profile field.
To define your profile fields in a structured way, you can use the "Structure - Profile Fields" tab in the "Templates" document.
